Ego Deflation

A few days ago, I stopped at a local pizza chain to pick up some pies to feed a house full of children (my 2 boys and plus 3 additional girls). I gave the guy my card to use and we chit-chatted for a moment while everything processed. As he handed me the receipt to sign, I jokingly stated that he should hold onto the signature because it would be worth something someday. Without skipping a beat, he handed me a pen and said, "Maybe, but right now it's only worth $16.45. Please sign on the line."

HA! Sorry, guess he didn't have a sense of humor. :-)
