I've been singing Christmas music ... since August! That's when we begin rehearsing for our church's Singing Christmas Tree. It's a pretty big production ... at least by "small town standards".
This week it's crunch time. We have 3 dress rehearsals and each of them are 3 hours long. Yep, 9 hours of just dress rehearsals. Then of course there were countless hours of group rehearsals along with individual practicing at home, in the car, at work - basically, wherever we can practice on our own.
Our first presentation (of 5) will be Friday night. I'm super excited about it. Here is a video from one of the songs last year. This is the song we always end with. Fabulous!!!
